Obituary of Angela Ranzie

Angela Ranzie, 67, of Mt. Pocono, died Friday, May 14 at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg. She was the wife of Alfonse Ranzie. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of Antonio Rocco Torre and Isabelle (Defilippo) Torre. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church in Tannersville and the VFW Auxiliary in Tobyhanna. In addition to her husband, Al, she is survived by two sons, Mark Ranzie and his wife Michelle of Maspeth, NY, Steven Ranzie and his wife Marissa of Tobyhanna; a brother, Anthony Torre and his wife Patricia of Orlando, FL; five grandchildren, Amanda, Nicholas, Nancy Ann, Rocco, and Roman; and many nieces, nephews, and godchildren. There will be viewings on Monday, May 17 and Tuesday, May 18 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of Routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley. The Reverend Father Richard Czachor will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 19 at Our Lady of Victory Church, Cherry Lane, Tannersville, Pa. Entombment will follow at Prospect Cemetery in East Stroudsburg.
