Obituary of Anthony Schutz

Anthony William Schutz, 49, of Saylorsburg, died Saturday, September 10 at VNA Hospice House of Monroe County in Smithfield Twp. Born in Fountain Hill, he was the son of Eleanore (Keiper) Schutz of Long Pond and the late William Schutz. Anthony graduated from Liberty High School in Bethlehem and was employed in the construction industry. He was a member of the Sun Valley Volunteer Fire Department in Effort and the NRA. Anthony enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandson Logan. In addition to his mother, Eleanore, Anthony is survived by his son: Anthony Schutz of Pocono Summit; his brother: Scott Schutz; his sister: Jeanine Schutz and his grandson: Logan. Reverend George Alt will conduct a memorial service on Wednesday, September 14 at 3:00 pm at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of route 940 & 390 in Cresco. There will be a visitation on Wednesday from 2:00 pm until the time of the service at the funeral home. Private cremation was entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the VNA Hospice House of Monroe County, 502 Independence Road, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301-8264.
