Obituary of Jeanne Happe

Jeanne (Culkin) Happe, 78, of Tobyhanna, died Saturday September 9 at the VNA Hospice House at University Ridge in East Stroudsburg. She was the wife of Richard Happe. Born in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Mc Dermott) Culkin. Prior to retiring, Jeanne worked as a Secretary for the Board of Health in Kinnelon, NJ. She was a member of St. Mary of the Mount Church, Mt. Pocono. In addition to her husband Richard, Jeanne is survived by one son: Edward Happe and his wife Linda of Pocono Summit; two daughters: Patricia Bunje and her husband Val of Tobyhanna and Maureen Webb and her husband Al of Milford; two sisters: Agnes Kelly of Stroudsburg and Irene Collins of Massapequa, NY; six grandchildren: Richard and Kathryn Happe of Pocono Summit, Brian Bunje and his wife April of Pocono Summit, Shannon Caspole and her husband Joseph of Camp La Jeune, NC, Dustin and Neal Pituch of Milford; four great-grandchildren: Liam, Abigail, Erin, and Emily. The Reverend Father Joseph Kopacz will conduct a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday September 14th at 10 am at St. Mary of the Mount Church, Mt. Pocono. Interment will follow in St. Catherine's Cemetery, Moscow. There will be viewings on Tuesday, September 12th and Wednesday September 13th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of Routes 940 & 390, Paradise Valley.
