Carli, Hi sweetie. I am so sorry to hear about your mom. I know how close you and your mom were. I only met her a few times but I think she and I could have been good friends. I remember when you were coming to the lake for the weekend to go out on our boat, and jetskis, your mom was so protective. She pretty much interviewed me to make sure you were going to be safe. Maybe other "mothers" would have been offended, but I completely understood where she was coming from. She was making sure her baby girl was going to be in good hands. Carli, she so completely loved you. I don't know what you are going through now, but I know I was your age when my dad died. It was tough, no doubt. But I will say I found some peace, somewhere, somehow, knowing that he knew how much I loved him. Your mom knows too. Oh Carli, sweetie, I hope you are somehow dealing.
