Obituary of Steven Butler

Steven Cole Butler, 51, of Tobyhanna, died Tuesday, March 2 at Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest Hospital in Allentown. He was the husband of Patricia Ann O'Leary Butler. Born in Weirton, West Virginia, he was the son of JoAnn (Leas) Butler and the late Ronald Coleman Butler. He was a 1976 graduate of Wintersville High School in Ohio and DeVry University. Steven was a Senior Consultant in the Program Management Office for Verizon. He was an active member of The Pocono Farms Country Club Association and an avid golfer. In addition to his wife, Patti, and mother JoAnn, he is survived by a daughter, Kelly Ann Butler of Tobyhanna; three sons, Tim Rigney of Tobyhanna, Travis Wong of Michigan, Bradley Wong and his fiance, Mary Schneider of New Jersey; two sisters, Kelly Mazzaferro and her husband, Jack of Blairsville, GA, Lori Humes nd her husband Allen of Boynton, Beach, FL; a granddaughter, Nova Dakota Rigney; several nieces and nephews, and his beloved pets; two cats, Emily and Tiger, and dog, Rocky. There will be a viewing on Friday, March 5 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 6 at St. Ann's Church in Tobyhanna. Private cremation will follow at the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Pocono Farms Swim Team, the Pocono Farms Golf Scholarship Fund, or Pocono Farms Mommy & Me , c/o the Pocono Farms Country Club, 7000 Lake Road, Tobyhanna, Pa. 18466-8948
