Mrs Werkheiser was the school nurse at Aldene School in Roselle Park when my son attended there. He had asthma and often needed to go to her office for his nebulizer treatments. To this day my son, now age 20,, still fondly recalls the time he spent with her in her office, and was saddened when he learned of her passing. I am sure she made him feel comfortable and accepted, and without any doubt, she made an impact on his young life. Additionally she made me feel relaxed and at ease, which is also what made her such a wonderful caring nurse.
I hope memories like these ease your sorrow. She was loved and admired by many.
