I am very sorry for your loss. Mrs. Werkheiser was the school nurse when I went to the Roselle Park schools and she was a wonderful, warm person. Even when I wasn't as sick as I thought I wanted to be, (to go home from school), Mrs. Werkheiser had a polite way of letting me know that she felt I could finish the day out and stay in school for the day. I wish comfort for your family. Mrs. Werkheiser had a tremendous impact on our community.
Sincerely,
Danny McCaffery

I was so sorry to hear of Nancy's passing. I worked with her at Aldene School and she
welcomed me with open arms when I began teaching there. She was one of my lunch buddies when a few of us ate in the library together. I will always remember her words of wisdom and empathy as I shared with her about my mother's situation when she had to go into assisted living. I pray that God would give all of her family members comfort knowing that she is with the Lord. I know that you all have wonderful memories of her and I feel honored and privileged to have been part of her life for a short while.

So sorry to hear about your loss. I worked with Nancy in Roselle Park for many years. She was always smiling, had a great sense of humor and just an overall great person. You may remember my husband and me from the Giant games. He was the big red headed guy who lead the cheers from section 113 in the old stadium. My heartfelt condolences to your whole family. Nancy was truly a great person, therefore such a great loss. May she rest in peace. With love, Kathy MacDonald

Mrs Werkheiser was the school nurse at Aldene School in Roselle Park when my son attended there. He had asthma and often needed to go to her office for his nebulizer treatments. To this day my son, now age 20,, still fondly recalls the time he spent with her in her office, and was saddened when he learned of her passing. I am sure she made him feel comfortable and accepted, and without any doubt, she made an impact on his young life. Additionally she made me feel relaxed and at ease, which is also what made her such a wonderful caring nurse.
I hope memories like these ease your sorrow. She was loved and admired by many.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your wife, mom, grandma.
I worked with Nancy for many years at Aldene School and remember what a kind person she was and what a warm heart she had. I often remember some of her wise guidance when I was troubled about a student and their family situation. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you move through this sad time.
