Dear Friends:
I am sorry this is so late but I happened upon Mr. Cramer's obit and just wanted to extend my condolences and memories. I was a child in the Poconos in the sixties - my father was the pastor of The Mt. Pocono UMC for almost eight years. Mr. Cramer, every year, would supply sand for our sandbox in our backyard and deliver it himself. I remember him talking to me about sports and being an overall nice man. And, after we moved (January 1969) I kept in touch with some friends and heard about Don Cramer's tragic death. I also remember seeing Don playing basketball for Pocono Mountain High School; he was someone I looked up to and I felt awful about his death. But I remember him fondly along with his Dad who my Dad always spoke fondly of.
