Ruby is a part of me - in everything I do in my life. She was my second mother. I remember how all of us played at her house because we loved her so much. When we got older, she was always there to give us the help that we needed. It was she who took me to the Lord. My own life was empty until I went to church with her daughter, Elsie, and with her. I grew inside because my friends cared about my soul as well as my life. To all of her family I extend my heartfelt prayers. They were my family, too! Elsie, her daughter was my friend for life and was more like a sister to me. I know that God's light is on her as she makes her way to heaven. My own mom and dad are there, and they are cheering her on. RIP my good friend. I hope that comfort finds you. "God be with you 'til we meet again"!
