Obituary of Warren Thomas Coffman

Warren Thomas Coffman, 57, of Cresco, died Monday, October 9, 2017 at his home. He was the loving husband of Alissen (Korsgard) Coffman.

Born in Sufforn, New York, he was the son of the late R. "Lloyd" and Jean (Van Dyke) Coffman.

After a corporate career in Florida as a computer engineer, Warren took the opportunity to move back to the Cresco area and pursue his next career as a mushroom farmer, which was his passion. He was well known at the Monroe, Hawley, and Milford Farmers Markets where he was known as the "mushroom man". Warren had a great love for nature, the woods, and music.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Heather Lynn Coffman of Orlando, Florida; stepdaughter, Ashleigh Howle of Sarasota, Florida; sister, Beverly Dyson and her husband, Jim of Cresco; nephew, Peter Dyson and his wife Amy of Covington Township; niece, Brittany O'Connor and her husband, Christopher of Cresco.

There will be a graveside service at 12 p.m. Friday, October 13 at Keokee Chapel Cemetery.
