The Piraino family was the first to welcome us to Pennsylvania from Long Island, NY in 1973. Vinny, Cindy and Francis became fast friends with my brother Michael and myself (Mourice). I have so many cherished childhood memories from riding our minibikes, playing in the snow, riding horses or just playing with our dogs Pepper and Yankee.
Vinny you were a special part of my young life and I am so grateful. Love to the whole Piraino family.

I am in shock. I use to work with Vinny at Tree Tops. We were friends, but lost touch. I would then see him, years later, working at various restaurants, and around Stroudsburg. He always greeted me with a great big smile; as if no time had passed between us. I hope you have found peace. My condolences to Vinny's family and friends. I am sorry for your pain. Diana

I didn't get to see Vinny often but when I did his smile would fill the room. We both loved music and would always have a chat about it. I will miss him {{{•}}}

Vinnie... My precious friend Vinnie... if I even TRY to write down how broken my heart is, it just isn't possible. You have been a magnificent friend my ENTIRE LIFE (last time we spoke we said we both looked 27 lol) Whenever we would see each other, it was as if not a day had gone by since our last visit!!! Your smile, your ability to make anyone feel like they were the only one in the room, your spirit....have just GIFTED HEAVEN by ARRIVING. I have seen messages from the old crew & read texts from people just lighting up my phone with the news that you were gone. You left this earth too soon....just too soon. We hadn't had our final conversation....the one when I told you that: "You live in my heart and you ALWAYS will"...there, now I said it.....ahhh Vin Rest in peace dear friend & many condolences to your family & all of those friends hurting right now... you are in the fiber of my being xo

Ah, Vinnie. Definitely too soon. We haven't seen each other since 82 but were attached at the hip for a time in high school. You were hip and fun and introduced me to punk and new age and in 1980 introduced me to thrift store clothing and clear heeled dancing shoes. :)
I will always think of you fondly old friend.
RIP.

My deepest sympathies go out to Vinny’s family and friends. May you take solace in the beautiful memories created through the years. I remember Vinny from school and his love of music, mostly punk rock. What I remember most was his beautiful smile and how he lifted your spirits. May he now fly high with the angels as he shines down upon you with his everlasting smile.
