Obituary of Vincent M. Piraino

Vincent M. Piraino, 55, of Stroudsburg, died Monday, September 3, 2018 at St. Luke's Hospital in Bartonsville, surrounded by his family and friends.

Born in Scranton, he was a son of Francis J. and Barbara (Willette) Piraino of Pocono Summit.

Vincent was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and shared his excitement with his many friends hosting and attending tailgate parties.  He loved gardening, camping on Seneca Lake, and backyard BBQs.  He was an amazing chef and personable waiter. A talented artist and trumpet player; he loved Jazz music. Vincent had the biggest smile that lit up the room.   He adored his pug, Addie Mae.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Francis S. Piraino of Anchorage, Alaska; sister, Loretta Boncella and her husband, Edward of Taberg, New York; Theresa Planchock and her husband, George of Pocono Summit; and Cynthia Olinyk of Scranton; nieces and nephews, and many wonderful, caring friends; and was loved by all.

There will be a visitation from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, September 7 at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. Reverend Father Gregory Loughney will conduct a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 8 at St. Ann's Church, Main Street, Tobyhanna.
