Obituary of Aisalee Belle

Aisalee Belle, 84, of Tobyhanna, PA died Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Whitestone Care Center in Stroudsburg Pa. She was the loving wife of the late William A. Belle, whom passed away in 2006.

Aisalee was preceded in death by her brother, James Johnson and sister, Arnetta Inniss.

 Born in Bronx, New York, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Hattie (Jones) Johnson.

Aisalee attended Jane Adams High School in Bronx, New York. Upon graduation she then attended nursing school to become a registered nurse. In 1957, Aisalee met and married the love of her life William A. Belle from this union three children were born Theodore, Yolanda, and Delores Belle.  She was gainfully employed in the nursing field for over forty years. Aisalee continued to be a loving mother and grandmother after retirement from A Holly Paterson Nursing home in Uniondale NY. 

Aisalee was a member of foster grandparents association of Nassau County. Aisalee worked as a active member of the county Board of Elections. Some of her other attributes include a 48 year membership at Mount Sinai Baptist Church Cathedral. Arthur L. Mackey Jr.  While being a member of the church she served on the Board of Missionaries, Pastors Aide, Usher Board, Nurses Unit and the Senior Choir.   She also was a member of living Hope Baptist Church in Tannersville, PA. 

She leaves to mourn Theodore Belle and his wife, Maritza Diaz-Belle of Tobyhanna, PA. Yolanda and her husband Lorenzo Parham of San Diego, California, Delores Belle of Amiityville, New York; Hermina Johnson her sister of the Bronx, New York. Grandchildren: Taeshana Archer, Chentelle Belle, Nistahcia Belle, Victoria Belle, Jasmin Parham, Maritza Belle, Theodore Belle Jr, Micah Parham, Briahna Harris . Great Grand Children; Jazmyn Archer, Kylie Kirk, Tianna Huggins, Stephon Jones Jr, Tayla Huggins. 

There will be a viewing from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, October 11 at Cherry Lane United Methodist Church, 4326 Cherry Lane Church Road, Tannersville. A service will begin at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery, Linden, New Jersey.
