Obituary of Bernard Rogan

Bernard "Bernie" J. Rogan, Jr., 59, of Tobyhanna, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2009 at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg. He was the husband of Debra (Huber) Rogan. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of Bernard J. Rogan of Moscow, and the late Loretta (Gorman) Rogan. He was employed as an Asbestos Insulator by International Association of Asbestos Workers Local #12 in New York City. He also worked on the Alaskan Pipeline. Bernie was a life-long Mets Fan, who attended the 1969 World Series Game #5 when the Mets clinched the title. In addition to his father and wife, he is survived by a son; Joseph "Spike" Rogan of Tobyhanna; and two brothers, Bobby and Kenny Dougherty, both of New York. There will be a visitation on Tuesday, February 24 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of Routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley. A funeral service will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Private cremation was entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
