Obituary of Norman D. Kuhenbeaker

Norman D. Kuhenbeaker, 74, of Tannersville, died Saturday morning, August 2 at Pleasant Valley Manor in Hamilton Twp. He was the husband of Lois (Williams) Kuhenbeaker. Born in Long Pond, he was the son of the late Clarence and Bessie (Bellis) Kuhenbeaker. Norman graduated from Tobyhanna High School and was employed as a Residential Electrician. He was a member of the Pocono Community Church and was a past senior commander for the Royal Rangers at the Paradise Valley Assembly of God. He was also a training coordinator for the Eastern District Royal Rangers for at least 20 years. Norman was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a lifelong resident of Monroe County. In addition to his wife Lois, Norman is survived by tow sons: Kevin Kuhenbeaker of Reeders and Nick Kuhenbeaker of Portland, OR; three daughters: June DeJuana of Irvington, NJ, Lori Fewster of Belaire, MD, and Mellisa Miller of Bethlehem, Pa; two brothers: Clarence Kuhenbeaker of Pennsbore, WV and Floyd Kuhenbeaker of Sciota; three sisters: Alverna Parker of Salem, WV, May Price of Paradise Valley, and Joyce Laubscker of Myock, NC; Nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. There will be a viewing on Monday, August 4 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of Routes 940 and 390 in Paradise Valley. The Reverend David Crosby will conduct a funeral service on Tuesday, August 5 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Keokee Chapel Cemetery, Paradise Valley.
