Dario Jr. and family, I am so sorry for the passing of your father. He was a great man and always had a smile or something nice to say to me. I know what it means to lose a parent, my mother was just taken Dec.10th. My heartfelt prayers to you and your family. Remember to give it up to God, one day at a time...love, Karen

My dearest Uncle Dario moves on to the promised land and leaves behind a legacy. His legacy is in his amazing children, DJ and Lisa, and his grandchildren. His legacy is in his giving, charismatic spirit that blossomed with each and every encounter wether with a loved one, a friend, stranger or colleague. When with him he made one feel as thought you were the center of his world. He loved unconditionally. I cherished my moments with him, his hug and smile filled me with joy. He always had a good joke to tell and always managed to find just the right moment to tell it. He made me laugh. I am sad he has been taken from our world but find consolation in knowing and trusting that the Lord has a plan. He lives on in all of us and that is his legacy. Ti voglio bene caro zio. There are very few "gems" left in the Pocono Mountains....the ones who held to the old standards of what the Poconos meant, & gave this area the class & dignity that put it on the map! Dario was one of those rare gems. He personified grace & elegance, & wore his handsome good looks quite humbly. My family will remember Dario with love & gratitude for his kind spirit & giving heart. May his family find peace in his legacy & know that he is in heaven...planning a new venture, for sure! Dario always smiled. May his smile shine brightly from a lovely star, forever more.

We are very sorry to hear about Dario. He was one of my first bosses at Penn Hills. I was only a kid yet he treated me with the utmost respect. I was thrilled when he came into my restaurant.I will never forget the time Charlie was on an important call and I (the switchboard operator )mistakenly cut him off Charlie came running downstairs to kill me Dario saved my life. I wanted to share that with you because that was the kind of Dad your father was. He cared. God be with all of you at your time of need. Sincerely, Kathi Hallet
